Meet with Leading CS and Math Award-Winners in Germany This September
SIGHPC is publicizing an opportunity for graduate students at the masters and PhD levels and postdocs in mathematics and computer science to attend the Heidelberg Laureate Forum.
When and Where: 24-29 September, 2017 in Heidelberg Germany
Who’s eligible: Students at any level (undergraduate through PhD) enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university in any country, or postdocs (including those in non-standard postdoc positions)
How many: 200 young researchers will be selected worldwide
What’s included: Registration, lodging, and food are provided for all participants. A limited number of travel grants are available to cover further travel costs.

Meet Top Names in Computing at 50th Anniversary of Turing AwardSIGHPC will pay expenses for our student members to attend Turing Award 50th Celebration. Participants will have the opportunity to network with Turing Award winners and other big names in the computing world.
When and Where: 23-24 June, 2017 at the Westin St. Francis Hotel, San Francisco, CA, USA
Who’s eligible: Full-time students at any level (undergraduate through PhD) in any country who are SIGHPC student members.
How many: 10 grants will be awarded by SIGHPC
What’s included: 2 nights in the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, registration for all events, plus US$900 to offset travel/subsistence costs.
How to apply: Use the online application form. In addition to personal information, each candidate must answer two questions (<=1500 characters for each): What is your interest in HPC? What you hope to get out of attending this event?
